🔌 Partnering with the World Bank on Electrification + Clean Cooking Infrastructure 🌍

We’re proud to announce that we’ve been selected as the consulting partner by The World Bank to collaborate on a groundbreaking initiative in Tanzania to improve energy access infrastructure.

The project has two key objectives:

1️⃣ Development of the Tanzania National Electrification Platform: VIDA will create a platform that accelerates universal electrification by deploying both decentralized and centralized energy solutions across the country.

2️⃣ National Clean Cooking Analysis: VIDA will also conduct a national-scale analysis to support the delivery and distribution of clean cooking infrastructure across Tanzania. This analysis will be integrated into the National Electrification Platform.

We’re excited to help expedite the rollout of the infrastructure needed for clean cooking. Burning firewood and charcoal is a significant source of emissions, a source of several million avoidable deaths and a climate change driver due to deforestation and land cover change.
